Taste of the Nation TV Commercial

Project Description

This 30-second TV commercial was created as part of an advertising campaign to promote “Taste of the Nation” — the nation’s largest and finest culinary benefit supporting the effort to end childhood hunger in America.

The event was hosted in Ridgeland, Mississippi and put on by NoKidHungry.org

Challenge

This non-profit organization had almost no budget to create and produce a high-end TV commercial.

Solution

Create a TV spot using only title cards, client logo, and a solo guitarist playing an original rendition of a popular song to create an elegant musical setting.

Script

Title cards: “The stars are suing. Music lingers. The beverages are chilled. And fine cuisine waits to embrace your tastebuds. It’s the culinary event of the year. And all proceeds go to hunger relief. April 12, 7pm – 11pm. Highland Village. Tickets available at all Be-Bob and Everyday Gourmet locations. Or call 977-8845. $35 in advance. $40 at the door. Fight Hunger. Go Eat.

Special thanks to Randy Lynn for providing the background guitar music.
