An up-and-coming telecommunications company already had a brochure - if you could call it that. Our task was to slim down their existing 70-page, 8 1/2" x 11", color Xeroxed, plastic spiral binder into a professional, 4-color, 6-panel roll-fold capabilities brochure to position the company for purchase.
We did, and they were. In fact, it was so effective, competitive communication companies who saw it asked us to help them.

After 40 years of manufacturing blue jeans for Levi Straus, Lucky Star decided to manufacture furniture. Although, furniture manufacturers don't usually use brochures to promote their products, we felt it was necessary to completely tell their story.
At the same time, in order to make the best use of time and money, we designed each spread to focus on a single benefit. Using this technique, the client would be able to create ads and direct mail pieces based on each spread while only incurring the cost of reformatting.
The results? With the steady growth the past 24 months Advantage by Lucky Star shipped in excess of $15 million for the year 2000 and their brochure is now in it's fourth printing.

The long, thin, horizontal shape of the brochure was used to help communicate the unobstructed pipe flow offered by using the promoted machinery.
