In 2000, Global Programs initiated a process to document the global toll of birth defects and provide policy makers, funding organizations and health care providers with feasible, cost-effective recommendations for reducing this toll. The report is the first to provide a global estimate of serious birth defects of genetic or partly genetic origin. It details the birth prevalence rates and the numbers of affected births in 193 countries.

Kristof Creative was honored to be part of this historic project and wishes to thank the March of Dimes and Hoffman & Hoffman Public Relations for entrusting us with designing the 98-page report, 16-page Executive Summary, 36" x 24" Wall Chart and a Database spanning over six feet in length.

Data on 193 countries presented in three, color-coded formats; Bar Chart listing each country in order of ranking, World Map, and three tables for low-, middle-, and high-income countries.
