Awards aren't everything. Matter of fact, if the work isn't successful for our clients, awards mean absolutely nothing.
Citizens Bank
Effie Award -- Financial Services/Image
In 2001 New England-based Citizens Bank acquired the retail operations of Mellon Bank, an institution with dissatisfied customers who were the most likely to switch banks of any in Pennsylvania. By humorously making a bold promise of customer respect and service ("Not your typical bank"), then demonstrating it with event marketing and nearly live advertising on their opening day, Citizens overcame these obstacles. The result was virtually no loss of customers (versus 10% attrition considered average in a bank merger), and an increase in deposits through the transition.

It is the award presented annually by the New York American Marketing Association in recognition of the year's most effective advertising campaigns - campaigns that have delivered superior results in meeting the objectives they were designed to achieve.
The New York American Marketing Association introduced the EFFIE Awards in 1968. It is the only national award to recognize creative achievement in meeting and exceeding advertising objectives. As such, it honors the "real world" work of agency/client partnerships that create, manage and build brands that have become a part of the American landscape.

Received 6 of the 20 awards given at the AECD Awards — a national award show for Economic Development Advertising.
Won “BEST READ AD” in the December, year-end, double-issue investment guide of Fortune magazine - Fortune’s biggest and best seller of the year. Fifty-two percent of those surveyed said they noticed the ad and 39% admitted to reading it in its entirety.
Won four "BEST OF CLASS" and one "SUPERIOR" the Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC) annual conference. Of 17 southern states and over 300 ads competing, none won more awards than Mississippi and the MDECD’s campaign.
Mississippi Department of Tourism
Created 30-second television commercial that had to be pulled from media schedule for overloading telephone response center.
Won the coveted " Platinum Award " from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for a 30-second television spot focusing on Mississippi as the "birthplace of the Blues". It competed against more than 1,650 entries from 55 countries. The television commercial was one piece of an entire creative campaign that increased inquires 17 percent overall from the same time period the preceding year. A superior accomplishment considering Mississippi competes against states with budgets four to five times higher.
